This was the last UK date of the 2004 Euro tour. The band had wanted to make a record that had more melody but still could be extremely heavy at the same time. Tear from the Red was recorded in six weeks at Studio 13 in Pompano Beach, Florida for $6,000. Tear from the Red was a transitional record for Poison The Well. First published in 1998, this autobiographical memoir, sequel to 'Sex and Thugs and Rock'n'Roll', reflects on the author's career as a rock/pop musician in the 1960s and 70s. If I scroll through my collection by release year, I can probably add 10 more records that, if there were such a thing as a hardcore "hall of fame," would deserve to be there. Versions (2007) is a Studio album by Poison the Well.
